The Association des concerts de Payerne presents a concert of Claudio Monteverdi’s Vespers to the Virgin in the Abbey Church. A significant work from the early 17th century in Italy, the Vespers are performed by Nathalie and Sandrine Gasser, sopranos, Jérôme Vavasseur, alto, Christian Reichen and Lionel Desmeules, tenors, Yaroslav Ayvazov and Léonard Schneider, basses, conducted by Alexandre Traube.
