In the musical and liturgical tradition of the Western Church, the great organs fall silent between the commemoration of Christ’s death on Good Friday and the proclamation of the Resurrection during the Easter Vigil. What, then, can be done when Holy Saturday falls on the first Saturday of the month, coinciding with the date of the traditional organ concert in Payerne?
